If you expect a mountain cottage on top of the alps, then this is it. Very friendly and helpful staff. Wi-Fi is poor connection dropping but bear in mind you are on top of the Alps close to 2.000m above the see. The restaurant cooks homemade Slovenian food - delicious one. Breakfast was great and the view from the terrace excellent. The bathroom/shower above the expectation. We are definitely coming back to stay. I do suggest the Krisko lakes, Kranjska Gora, Bovec, Bled (45min) and Bohinjske jezero (65min). It is great to swim in the lakes.

Merano Hotels are all quite pricey. So we found this hotel a bit away from the oldtown centre. but this was a very positive surprise! Hotel facilities are very user friendly, balcony facing to the Alps, so quiet to here only birds chirping. Bathroom especially the show area is big. The entire room is very clean. A good restaurant is only 3 minutes walking distance, but the hotel dinner is also very good. The best is the breakfast, various options and very home style. Love this Hotel SO Much! We will be back in Summer for some Alps Hikings.

This is our third time in this hotel. We like it because is very nicely situated in the heart of the old city of Aosta (everything is reachable by foot in the old city), has a private parking, the view from the upper floors (we stayed on the 4th and 5th floors) towards the Alps is amazing, the staff is very kind and helpful and the breakfast is excellent, serving among others, local produce. We found the price very correct as well. There is a spa but we didn't try it. We will be back whenever will be visiting the Aosta valley.

The room had a fabulous view of the alps and we had a terrace so could walk out and listen to the buzz below where there were fire pits at night and an open spa/jacuzzi which you needed to book from 6pm for 1/2 hour time slots, during the day you joined others. A superb ski shop attached to the hotel with knowledgeable staff. All the days had theme nights - loved the sushi night. They have a good wine list (not inc) - definitely worth going half board as the food was really good. The bar staff were lots of fun!

Excellent location, right in the centre of the ski resort while away from the noise of bars, restaurants and the main busy road traffic, delicious food, free shuttle to the nearby ski lifts, ski room with heating shelve for ski boots, on site free parking, every day cleaning service swimming pool and sauna (albeit both very small), table tennis. If you are after an authentic French experience with almost Michelin star restaurant, this is the place to stay in the oldest and one of the largest ski resorts in the Alps!

LOVED the location and history associated with the hotel. On top of a mountain, great to hike to castles 🏰 and other historical sites. There is a short walk on a trail to get to a lift (if you don't want to walk down the mountain) that will take you down to the old part of the city. Or take a taxi to Old Town for €14. Lots of shopping, restaurants, beautiful buildings, etc.. Scrumptious breakfast buffet with lots of choices. Rooms very clean and spacious with wonderful views of Salzburg and the Alps.

What a find! After a long drive, we stopped to rest and found this awesome Gasthaus. The owners are kind and friendly, and gave my son and I an upgraded 2 BR apartment for the same price of the room I originally booked. The beautiful view of the Alps from it was amazing (see photo). We enjoyed a delicious Dinner and Breakfast at their onsite restaurant, Wirsthaus Nattererboden. Loved watching the animals in the little petting zoo. (Bauernhof). Will definitely return whenever I am in Austria!

Excellent service and kind and helpfull staff. | Very good breakfast. | The room was very nice and soundproof (including the door). | Well designed interiors. | Shuttle available for short trips around the hotel (restaurant, parking), since Saas-Fee is a car-free village. | The famous Matterhorn is about two hours away - drive to Tasch, take the train to Zermat, then the cog-wheel train to Gornergrat platform. | Many ski lifts and the Alpin Express gondolas take you to fantastic views of the Alps.

Great place, fantastic view, comfortable apartment, free parking, lots of place to park. Silent and quick lift. No wifi, but that was known. We met owners, very nice people, but the key was in the locked box, so you don't have to bother them with the late arrival. Hot water, bath tube, all was very clean. Very nice balcony overlooking the Alps. Good place to stay, when you like driving up and down, but that's Switzerland. We'll be happy to go back one day.

We loved everything about our stay at the hotel, from the spacious and comfortable room with a stunning view of the alps to the excellent facilities and amenities provided. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our experience even more enjoyable. Plus, the hotel's convenient access to the nearby cable car to Aiguille du Midi made exploring the area a breeze. Would love to come back and recommend this to friends.

The best location in the Austrian Alps, no question. We have been to a few locations in the Alps before, but this location was the tops. It is simply heavenly. On top of that, Karin’s hospitality and wholesome always happy smile makes it remarkably unbeatable. Our kids loved it so much they were begging us to bring them back next year. There are so many things to do for the kids. It is wonderful. Thanks Karin! We will be back.

Quite spacious room with a nice terrace overlooking the Alps. Olivia is great and she was very helpful, providing information before and during the stay. The hotel has parking places (outdoors, and indoors) which was very handy. Staff very friendly and welcoming, and a good variety for breakfast! The hotel also has an accessible spa (didn't have time to see it unfortunately) Will definitely recommend Hotel Art de Vivre!

Outstanding 1-bedroom apartment! Loved the terrace with a view of the Alps. Super-friendly and helpful staff! Location right next to the train station, literally a 15-second walk (but not many trains for this small town, so noise wasnt an issue). Also a five-minute walk to the grocery store, and near great restaurants. I came for the hiking, and this place was exactly what I wanted. Bonus for the washer and dryer.

The host is a very nice and welcoming man - he patiently waited us even very late at night when we wandered through the mountain roads of Switzerland... Also the apartment itself is very nice, spacious, cosy and with almost everything you need (kitchen equipment, TV), balcony and a great view to the Alps. It has also a few stylish design accents - for example, an interesting, long wooden lamp hanging over the desk

An exceptional staff; always eager to go the extra mile (or 1.6 km) to help. Although we did not have a lakefront room, we had an enclosed balcony that gave us a view of the lake and the Alps. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. In my 11 trips to Italy, there was only a B&B in Rome that I thought this highly of. You will not be disappointed.

Great place to stay and eat if you want to visit Bad Gastein and its surroundings. The owners/hosts were very kind and helpful. Nice and family atmosphere. The room was cleaned every day. The bed was big and comfortable. Breakfasts and the restaurant were really good as well :) Definitely, recommended if you want to visit the Alps in Austria.

The hotel is an absolute invitation to not wanting to leave: room is spacious and very comfortable, with a view to the Alps. Reception and all facilities are great, offering a good breakfast and coffee/tea/hot wine throughout the day for free. And the location is a short walk away from anything you'd want to do, so comfortable, really.

Hotel Sapiniere was in a convenient location with gorgeous views of the Alps. The inn is located near the landing area for the parasailers and it was wonderful to watch them sail through the air and land right by the hotel. The owner and staff at Hotel Sapiniere were very friendly and helpful. A buffet breakfast is offered for 15 Euro per person.

I really liked the style of the house, which can be imagined as an Austrian white cottage between mountains with a stunning view. It has the best of both words. Very comfortable, but it reflects the village-life in the Alps. Furthermore, the owners were kind and welcoming, and made us feel home for a few days!

The view was amazing, you can see the Alps and one of the lifts from the balcony. The location was very good, about 1 min walk to the main lift Jandri Express. The apartment was nice and clean. The owner was very nice and always quick to respond to any questions we had. Me and my family had a lovely stay.
